ReLove

A favorite amongst the neighborhood, ReLove (who we’ve covered in issue 1) homes the coolest finds and finely vets the crap from the gems. The owner, Delila, curates her shop by season, style, and availability. You can bet that their Instagram is the treasure trove and shopping from their collection is quite easy. Of course, everything is on a first come, first serve so be quick! // 1815 Polk St, Nob Hill, shoprelove.com

Everlane

All about radical transparency and affordable pricing, Everlane is no stranger to Bob Cut but time and time again, they trump our concept of a mule. A pastel, leather, and suede moments are to be had. Also pro tip: Everlane is currently doing their ‘Choose What You Pay’ and that’s how we scored our day heels in the title image. // 2170 Folsom St, Mission, Everlane.com

Vacation SF

Another vintage fave (also covered in issue 2) is Vacation SF. These badass female owners take vintage sourcing to a new level, acquiring some of oddest pieces but hell, they go together so well. The store they have is small so searching the entire floor is a must if you want to find the treasures. Take your time and shop. // 651 Larkin St, Little Saigon, vacation-sf.com

Freda Salvador

What can be considered the “mule queens of the Bay Area,” Freda Salvador have successfully taken mules to serious extremes. And we mean, extremes. These Sausalito gals have inspired trends across the board and many have copied. Great minds inspire others we suppose. The brand also is hosting deep discounts on various styles from past seasons so get on that sale ASAP. // 2416 Fillmore St, Pac Heights, fredasalvador.com

Bryr

A Dogpatch shoe studio with a New York sensibility, Bryr Clogs in the Dogpatch saw their wind in 2017 when the boom of their custom-made clogs caught air with SF’s fashionable. Though these babies will cost you a pretty penny, the face of the matter is that their shoes can be custom fit to your foot. Whether wide footed, extended arched, or any foot ailment that holds you—they can make your mule to your liking. // 2331 3rd St, Dogpatch, bryrstudio.com

Anthem Store

A slightly more surprising place to find mules through the collection of sneakers, Anthem Store boasts some of the coolest sneakers known to man. Every exclusive release or celebrity-brand, they most likely have. But again, for the mule lovers out there, they also have a small collection of contemporary classics. Ranging from brands home to LA, New York, and beyond. // 1553 Haight St., Lower Haight, Instagram.com.
