A lot of great teams are going to be participating in the Qualifiers. Starting off with the NA, in order from first to last place in current standings, we have:
Team EnVyUs Team Edgar Team Solo Mid Cloud9 G2A Enemy Cognitive Gaming Denial eSports Team eLevate
And for EU, we have:
Epsilon ESports Paradigm Fnatic London Conspiracy Titan Team Dignatas Myrmidons Team JusTus
The Qualifiers will be very tough on Cloud9 in particular, because they really want to kick TSM out of the 3rd place slot. This should definitely be possible, because their first game is with Team eLevate, who hasn’t been doing so well this season, and Cloud9 could take advantage of that
The Qualifiers will also have an impact in EU, as Fnatic has the potential to steal away second place from Paradigm. It seems pretty clear that Fnatic will get the win on JusTus for the same reasons that Cloud9 will get the win against eLevate. But Fnatic has a real shot at unseating the second place team of the entire EU SMITE Pro League. With this in mind, if they do win on Sunday, they have a chance at becoming second in the whole Pro League.
Fnatic and Cloud9 will definitely be the teams to watch. They have the most pressure on their shoulders, and I do believe they can clutch this season.
The SMITE Pro League Qualifiers will start at 4:00 PM EDT on Friday the 16th, and will continue at 1:00 PM EDT on Saturday and Sunday. You can stream the whole competition live via this Twitch link. Our sister company, Gamer Lauch, is an official sponsor of SMITE. So we’re excited to see who emerges triumphant in this qualifier.
