The Pixel 3 XL leaks just don’t stop. Pre-production units of the handset have already leaked in detailed high-resolution photos and even been unboxed on video. Now, adding salt to Google’s injuries, (presumably) a Google employee left a Pixel 3 XL in a Lyft. The leaked photos don’t reveal anything new except for giving us a closer look at that XL-sized notch and the two-tone panel at the rear. Unlike other Pixel 3 XL leaks that we have seen so far, this unit had a black rear panel. While not evident from the photo, the Pixel 3 XL will feature a glass back at the rear to support wireless charging. The Lyft driver first thought he dropped his Pixel 2 XL at the rear of the car but when he picked the phone up and saw the notch and Google logo at the back, he realized it was the Pixel 3 XL. A few snaps later, he returned the phone to its owner instead of keeping it with himself. At this point, leaks have revealed almost everything about the Pixel 3 XL. The handset will come with a 6.7-inch notched QHD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of base storage. The rear of the handset will continue to house a single 12MP shooter, while the front will house two 8MP cameras with different apertures for ‘Super Selfies’ and presumably Face unlock.
