Two phones a tablet
First up, Sony announced its third-generation of Android-powered smartphones, including the Xperia Z3 Xperia Z3 Compact. The Xperia Z3 is merely a minor specification bump over its predecessor. It features a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 5.2 inch full HD display, a 20.7-megapixel camera with Sony’s Exmor RS for mobile sensor. It’s essentially the same camera sensor in the Xperia Z2, except only it’s supposed take improved low-light photography due in part to its incredibly high ISO sensitivity—up to ISO 12800. The Xperia Z3 will be coming to T-Mobile this fall. The Xperia Z3 Compact is essentially a mid-range version of Sony’s new full-size flagship, in a smaller size. It features the same camera technology water/dust protection rating as its bigger brother, as well as a Snapdragon 801 processor 2GB RAM, all sealed in tight behind a smaller, 4.6-inch 720p display. ayStation 4 fans who don’t want to shell out for a Vita, take note: Sony has enabled 4 Remote ay on these phones. The phone acts as a remote display for your 4, you use the 4’s controller to manage the action. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is the last of the flagship bunch to get introduced at IFA, though this particular device is a bit of a change from Sony’s usual norm. It’s got an 8-inch, 1920×1200 display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM. It’s a mere 6.4mm thick weighs 270 grams—less than a Nexus 7. ke the Z3 phones, it features 4 Remote ay. It’s quite similar to the 10.1-inch Xperia Tablet Z2, but we’re glad to see Sony jumping on the smaller tablet bwagon.
