Sony was among the first Android manufacturers to introduce a dedicated service for allowing users to unlock the bootloader on their devices. Now, the Japanese manufacturer has taken a step toward making the entire process of bootloader unlocking more easy and user-friendly, with a redesigned website.  The actual process of unlocking the bootloader remains unchanged, and still includes selecting a device, requesting an unlock code, and entering some commands into a terminal. However, users now get more detailed step-by-step instructions that are easier to understand. Also, they get information related only to the particular device they’re trying to unlock, without unnecessary information for other devices getting in the way.
