One of Sony’s strength is the beautiful media application it bundles with its Xperia devices. They are easily among the most aesthetically pleasing and feature-rich music app to come pre-loaded on any Android device. Now, XDA-Developer Rizal Lovins has managed to port the Xperia Z1’s Walkman app, along with all of its features like Clear Bass and Clear Audio+, to the Samsung Galaxy S4. In fact, the port should work on all rooted Android 4.2 Jelly Bean devices. However, it has only been tested on a Galaxy S4 so your mileage may vary.
The flashable zip file includes the latest Walkman app from the Z1, along with the new Movies and Album app. Below is a small feature list of the mod as posted by the developer -: Make sure to create backups before you try the mod on your Android device. If your Android device is running Android 4.1 or Android 4.3, don’t bother installing the update since it will only work with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
