Yesterday, some press photos of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact made their way to the Internet. Following on its footsteps is its bigger brethren — the Xperia Z3 — whose press pictures have leaked today.  The press photos show off the Xperia Z3 in a new dash of color, Copper, which will apparently be replacing Purple this time around. The model in the photo also sports the new SmartBand from Sony and shows off its E-Ink display in all its glory.

The specs of the Sony Xperia Z3 also made its way to the Internet yesterday and the device remains largely the same as its predecessor. The Z3 will include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 3100mAh battery and a 20.7MP camera. Sony, however, has managed to slim the Z3 down further to a mere 7.5mm — down by 0.7mm from its predecessor. The only notable inclusion on the Xperia Z3 looks like Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement engine, which when combined with the front-facing stereo speakers should provide decent audio output. Sony will be unveiling the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, the Z3 Compact tablet and a couple of new wearables in just over 24 hours from now at IFA in Berlin.
