On September 18, Sony opened up pre-registration for several of their newly announced (back then) devices, including the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. They’ve officially upgraded its status to pre-order. On Tuesday, October 21, Sony officially listed the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact as available for pre-order, and listing it for $499.99. If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the device, Sony’s also listed an expected ship date beginning November 2, so the wait is certainly getting closer to an end. As a refresher, the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact boasts an 8-inch 1920×1080 display, measures in at only 6.4mm thin, and there’s a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor under the hood. It features 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. And if you’ve got yourself a PlayStation 4, the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact also features the company’s Remote Play feature, which will let you play streaming PS4 games right on the tablet.
