Google Photos silently received an update a couple of days back which added the ability to electronically stabilized existing videos. For stabilizing a video, first of all, make sure you have the version 2.13 or above of Google Photos. In case you still haven’t received the update, head over to this link and install the APK file. If you’re on iOS, though, you’ll have to wait. Once that’s done, fire up the Google Photos app and tap the video file you’d like to edit. Tap the little pen icon on the bottom and hit “stabilize”. You’ll be greeted a progress bar, duration of which will obviously depend on the size of your video. It does tend to take a few seconds even if the clip is tiny.
