The trailer begins with the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, just as the second Death Star explodes. The camera pans to a set of Imperial TIE fighter pilots looking toward the sky as a woman narrates, recalling the day the Empire suffered its greatest defeat.

The trailer goes on to show various battle scenes between the Rebellion and the Empire across different Star Wars eras, from the prequel trilogy to The Force Awakens. It also reveals various villains and heroes from those eras, such as Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey, and Kylo Ren, as well as planets and locations such as Hoth, Takodana, and Starkiller Base.

Besides these characters and locations, the trailer shares that an “untold soldier’s story” campaign will be included in the final game, in conjunction with a multiplayer battle mode. On top of that, if gamers pre-order Battlefront II, they will gain access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi heroes, although what heroes those might be is a mystery at this time.

Although the trailer packs a lot of information into a short 30 seconds, it does not provide a release date for the game. However, more information is sure to be revealed during Star Wars Celebration.
