Luckily, it’s pretty easy to find all of the experience points you need to stay properly leveled through the campaign by playing through the game regularly.

That said, you can earn far more XP (and by extension, skill points) by scraping zones for specific things that may be out of your way. Here are our best strategies for farming skill points in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order XP Farming Guide

Collect Force Echoes

Force Echoes are items that act much the same way as audio logs. When you pick one up, you gain an “echo” of an earlier event which further illustrates the context of the area that you’re exploring in. It’s stored in your log, and Cal even narrates a bit of his own internal dialogue in reaction to the echo itself.

Force Echoes also grant you experience points each time you pick one up, making it worthwhile to run around looking for them.

Each zone in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order tends to be packed with nooks and crannies, and Force Echoes are commonly issued as rewards for exploration. This means that you can farm skill points just by peeking around corners and traversing through the world in Fallen Order.

Scan Objects Around the Environment

Scannable objects are another common reward for exploration in Fallen Order. Scanning objects in the environment works much the same as picking up notes or logging points of interest in another game. When you send BD-1 to scan an object, a text log is recorded in your menu, and you receive a bundle of XP.

As with Force Echoes, scannable objects provide context to the world, reward exploration, and tend to strike up snippets of conversation between Cal and BD-1. They’re also a great way to buffer your skill point gain from combat.

Scannable objects include environmental objects and defeated enemies, so make sure to scan Stormtroopers, Purge Troopers, and more.

Respawn Entire Groups of Enemies At Once to Farm Skill Points

Each time you save at a Meditation Point, all you need to do is rest and restore your health and stims to respawn every other enemy in the zone. Certain special bosses and encounters don’t respawn, but many do.

There are plenty of locations in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order where you can meditate and restore your health right before a difficult battle with a Tomb Guardian, a Purge Trooper, or even a Nightbrother.

For example, it’s possible to fight and beat the AT-ST on Zeffo as many times as you’d like, at least until you leave the planet.

Each of these encounters scores you a massive XP and skill point gain, and since you can complete them as many times as you want, it’s possible to generate an infinite source of XP by killing enemies, healing yourself at a Meditation Point, and killing them over again indefinitely.

Don’t fret though; grinding XP and skill points this way is not an exploit. Since you’ll need to rest and restore your health often, you’ll find that farming skill points by repeating combat encounters is a natural part of gameplay in Fallen Order.

That was our guide on farming XP for skill points in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! You should now know how to farm XP more efficiently.

Any of these methods are great for when you get stuck at a certain boss fight and could use a few more skill upgrades to proceed.
